X5crni18-10 alloy is an austenitic chromium-nickel alloy. This alloy is the most used of all stainless steels and is versatile in nature. Our X5crni18-10 has very good resistance to oxidation in intermittent service of up to 870 degree Celsius and in continuous service to 925 degree Celsius. However, it is not recommended to use continuously at 425- 860 degree C. X5crni18-10 – sheets, plates, coils have good oxidation resistance in intermittent service to 1600°F and in continuous service to 1690°F. X5crni18-10 – sheets exhibit various features like ease of formability, good corrosion resistance, and fabrication, good weldability, etc. X5crni18-10 – plates are used in various applications like marine environment, food industry, Heat Exchangers, Chemical Industry, brewing industry, etc. X5crni18-10 – coils have exceptional toughness even at cryogenic temperatures which are defined as very low temperatures, low temperature properties responding well to hardening by cold working, etc.
