Stainless steel 310 coils are austenitic stainless steel developed for use in the higher temperature applications. These coils have excellent oxidation resistance property up to 1100 deg c even in the cyclic conditions. It has the higher chromium content and sufficient nickel content makes it resistive to sulfidation. These coils can be used in moderate carburizing environments. These coils offer good service in severe carburizing atmospheres in the thermal process equipment. These are highly used in the slightly oxidizing, thermal cycling and cementing applications.

These coils can also be exposed in the cryogenic applications with low magnetic properties and toughness down to -450 deg f. It is heated between 1202 deg f to 1742 deg f also it is subjected to sigma phase precipitation.It is also processed from solution annealing treatment operation in temperature at 2012 deg f to 2102 deg f that will attain a higher degree of toughness. It is available in both lower and higher version of Carbons. The higher carbon version is developed for improved creep resistance property. In most cases, the grain size and carbon content of coils can attain both higher and lower carbon requirements.

It is quite ductile and readily formable with cold working operations. However, cold working coils are not recommended to use in the carbide precipitation. We believe in the quality production of coils more than higher business rate. So we developed and applied a stringent quality assurance program which is followed in our production line. Only professionals and experienced personnel execute the testing session. Foremost tests conducted by us are material tests and destructive tests.
